About a month ago, I had to travel halfway across my country by train. The journey was going to take around 7 hours and I needed to find a way to entertain myself.

Normally, I would write, do university work or try to actively do something productive, but I was on a break for a few days and didn’t want to hassle myself with work.

So I took a dive into the notes on my phone, where I keep all of my to-do lists and thought I’d finally tick something off that I’d been meaning to do for ages.

In there, I came across an interesting one:

Having been interested in all things business and finance for some time now, I had added ‘Read Rich Dad Poor Dad’ to my to-do list many years ago, except I never got round to it.

So now was the time.

I figured the audiobook version would be better as some of my train journey would be dark and it would be a pain to read for that length of time so, I…
