I started writing on Medium in 2020.
In the beginning, it was an exciting time for me as I never really believed it was possible to make real money online.
When my stories started to earn a few dollars each, I got really excited.
I began writing seriously and I challenged myself to see how many articles I could write in a month.
Sadly, however, it didn’t last very long.
September rolled around and I had to go back to university. My time was now monopolised by assignments and homework.
Medium had to take a step back on my priority list.
Fast forward to today and I still haven’t fully gotten back into my stride yet.
Of course I’ve had my ups and downs, periods of motivation where I’ll churn out several articles a week followed by months where I don’t write a single thing.
But now I’m making a change.
For the first time in a while, I don’t have much university work to be doing. My degree is nearly finished and I have a lot more free time.
